Seven Key Questions to Ask Yourself

In order to move your career forward, it takes a concerted effort. Here are Seven Key Questions any aspiring woman needs to ask herself:

  1. Are you aware of your top five Signature Strengths? Are these consistent with what others see and appreciate in you?
  2. Do you know what is important to you? In other words, what is absolutely essential in order for you to find fulfillment? If someone asked, "How can I help achieve what you'd like?" do you know your answer?
  3. Have you created a Personal/Professional Plan? Do you know what your overarching goals are? For each goal do you have short and long-term objectives?
  4. Have you taken the time to create your own Personal Branding statement? Is it a brand that speaks to the core essence of who you are? Are you walking the talk each day?
  5. Do you know what qualities your organization is looking for in its female executives?
  6. Are you aware of what motivates you and are you willing to make the commitment and step out of the crowd and be a leader?
  7. Do you have the necessary supports in place that will allow you to succeed?
