Seven Key Questions to Ask Yourself
In order to move your career forward, it takes a concerted effort. Here are Seven Key Questions any aspiring woman needs to ask herself:
- Are you aware of your top five Signature Strengths? Are these consistent
with what others see and appreciate in you?
- Do you know what is important
to you? In other words, what is absolutely essential in order for you
to find fulfillment? If someone asked, "How
can I help achieve what you'd like?" do you know your answer?
- Have you
created a Personal/Professional Plan? Do you know what your overarching
goals are? For each goal do you have short and long-term objectives?
- Have
you taken the time to create your own Personal Branding statement?
Is it a brand that speaks to the core essence of who you are? Are you
walking
the talk each day?
- Do you know what qualities your organization is looking
for in its female executives?
- Are you aware of what motivates you
and are you willing to make the commitment and step out of the crowd
and be a leader?
- Do you have the necessary supports in place that will allow you to succeed?
